TeltoHeart features a patented high-specificity algorithm for real-time heart arrhythmia detection. It can automatically detect atrial fibrillation (AFib or AF) and other arrhythmias, such as bradycardia and tachycardia. TeltoHeart is a solution for a patient to wear all the time. If the wristband detects an arrhythmia or the patient feels unwell, they are recommended to record a 6-lead ECG. The doctor can receive and easily access the recording in the TeltoCare platform to make a diagnosis and prescribe the necessary treatment.

The TeltoHeart wristband records a high-precision 6-lead electrocardiogram, which can be transferred to the TeltoCare telemedicine platform for a physician to analyse. The wristband uses three electrical heart sensors and records six ECG derivations. A 6-lead ECG provides a detailed view of a patient’s heart condition and can be recorded at home, on the go, or whenever the patient needs it.

Our smart wristband has an integrated photoplethysmography (PPG) system that can detect any changes in blood circulation in real time. To detect atrial fibrillation, it is essential to continuously monitor your heart rate, especially at rest, to minimise inaccuracies caused by movement. Dangerous heart palpitations often occur during the night or early morning and may be left undiagnosed. When TeltoHeart detects any heart arrhythmia, it notifies the patient to immediately record a 6-lead ECG.

The TeltoHeart wristband comes with a medically certified MyHealth App firmware which enables the device to record and transfer patient’s heart health parameters. The 6-lead ECG, heart rate, and AFib data recorded by the TeltoHeart wristband can be sent to the TeltoCare platform. That data can then be seamlessly used and analysed by healthcare specialists.
